The Moon Cake Festival

Eve, her cousin and her uncle Han went to the festival. The Moon Festival celebrates the end of the harvest. First they saw a short play about… a woman who became the moon goddess. After the play, ….two women in chinese clothing came on stage. When the women were finished, a group of boys…then a school put on a display they pretended to fight. Later, they were hungry and… by now we were hungry so we walked over to the food stalls. They ate… then it was time to buy a cake. After they finished eating, … we finally chose a moon cake. When the competition ended, they saw …. We had to draw colorful pictures on white lanterns. After a long, but exciting day, they ….i was getting excited because it was nearly time for the lion dance. Eve hoped… the music started playing and the crowd started cheering.

We had to write about Fia Fia last week.

Space Day

 Yesterday, Team 3 had space rotations because Mrs Moala wanted us to have a fun day. First, We went to Miss Scanlan class. She tied a marshmallow onto a string.  I tried to lick icing sugar off the marshmallow and Logan was holding it up. Next, We went to Mrs Adina class.we played games like astronaut training and satellite tag. Then, We had lunch. After that, I went to Mrs weCarruthers and made an art rocket  Finally, we went back to class and talked about our day. I felt bored because there were no sports today.
